Lakeshore Scouting Summer Program
Want some summer time adventure in the great outdoors? Come check us out. The Muskegon area Cub Scout Packs will be all around Muskegon having fun! We will be camping, bike riding, fishing, kayaking, hiking and many more fun activities for everyone in the family!
Saturday, June 6, 2026 @ 10:00 AM – Kayaking at Pamona Park, Fruitport, MI. Meet at the boat launch. Bring your own kayak/canoe and life jacket or borrow one of ours. Call/text Shelly at 231-730-2023 to reserve.
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 @ 6:30 PM – Fishing at Lake Harbor Park, 4635 Lake Harbor Rd, Norton Shores, MI 49441. We’ll be on the east side of the bridge. Bring your own fishing pole or use one of ours. Bait provided.
Tuesday, July 7, 2026 @ 6:30 PM – Bicycling, Downtown Muskegon. Meet at the Milwaukee Clipper, 2098 Lakeshore Dr, Muskegon, MI 49441 by the small pavilion. Bicycle to the Hometown Creamery, 292 W, Western Ave., Muskegon MI 49440, get ice cream and return to the Milwaukee Clipper. All must wear a helmet.
Wednesday, July 22 – July 25, 2026 – Cub Scout Summer Camp at Gerber Scout Reservation, 1733 Owasippe Rd, Twin Lake, MI 49457. $175/person. Contact Shelly at 231-730-2023 for more details.
Tuesday, July 28, 2026 @ 6:30 PM – Beach Night at Pere Marquette Beach, west of The Deck/volleyball courts at the channel beach. Swimming, beach fun and s’mores. Maybe a boat ride as well.
Tuesday, August 11, 2026 @ 6:30 PM – Rain Gutter Regatta at Wolf Lake Park, 24 S. Wolf Lake Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442. Build a catamaran and race it in a rain gutter. Please RSVP to Shelly at 231-730-2023 to make sure we have enough supplies.
Friday – Sunday, August 29 - 31 – Halloween Campout at Diamond Lake, White Cloud, MI 49349. Join us for the day, one night or the weekend. Hike the Halloween Trail, trick or treat, kayak, fish, and of course camp!
Tuesday, August 25, 2026 @ 6:30 PM – Geocaching at the Block House 462 N. Scenic Dr., Muskegon, MI 49445. Do you like treasure hunting? Then Geocaching is for you! Come join us!
